Why Does God Need Money?

I've just received another begging circular from the local christians scrounging donations to repair their clubhouse (church) - which they like to call "God's House". Their god is said to have created the entire universe and everything in it, out of nothing, in just 6 days. Why can't it do a few simple home repairs itself?

If you actually knew anything more than a few words about the Christian faith, you'd know. But I suspect even if you were told, you'd close your ears, right?

@Gumba1000 I had christianity forced on me since childhood so I do know a lot about it. In any case, I don't need to know what they believe to know they're a bunch of scroungers, their begging circulars prove that.
