I really love deep voices 🗣️

I've always had a thing for deep voices, ones that can either shake the room or just sound lovely and sultry (or both).

On one of my current favorite shows Chicago Fire, a character on that show has quite a hoarse voice. The character's name is Wallace Boden and his imposing voice really suits him! Just listen to him in this clip:

And every time he screams on that show is like, damn! 😳 The actor Eamonn Walker is British and his normal voice sounds much smoother, so I think he adopts that hoarse tone while playing Boden to cover his accent. Still, he does a damn fine job at it!

For an example of a deep feminine voice, one of the people on YouTube I'm subscribed to Graysons Projects has a lovely deep voice! I'll just post her most recent video for reference:

While I do enjoy her content, her voice is half the reason I'm subscribed to her. ☺️

And then there's my sister's voice! 🤩 She has a deep but very feminine voice that I never get tired of listening to. On top of that, she's an amazing singer, lol. But her deep voice is probably what made me develop such an affinity for deep voices in general, lol.

If you got yourself a deep voice, be proud of it!

I love his voice too!

@Ducky Yes! I knew him from Oz and I believe something else. The raspiness usually tells me it’s not their natural accent. I learned that from a couple of actors. Did you know Hank Voight on Chicago PD’s voice is as it is now from tubes damaging his vocal cords after an accident? I read he said he kept pulling them out on his own.

@MellyMel22 I read that too! Crazy bаstard, lol. At least now he's got a badass voice. And you got a point on raspiness being used to mask an accent. Spanish actor Javier Bardem has a deep voice, but I've noticed it gets a lot more bellowing and hoarse when he's using an American accent in his roles, lol.

@Ducky Yeah! What set the idea off for me was after watching House and seeing the Australian character on Chicago Fire talking like an American. It reminded me of Hugh Laurie on House.
