It would have to be feedback. If people like working at a workplace they will work harder.

@SW-User you're a bad employer if your employees talk shit about you and think about leaving and u need to ask for feedback to know why is that. That means that you're clueless at what's happening in your business, if it got to that point.

@Dan193 Maybe maybe not. But is firing them all the answer? It doesn't mean I have to listen to their feedback.

@SW-User why is that the alternative?
In my answer I said, look into hiring new people. So in case these leave or start underperforming, to change them.

Three options? Very limited question then.
If I should hear it. Then I definitely would attempt to figure out why they are saying that before doing anything.
Then see if their is any way to improve the situation.
Employees rarely say that without saying the reasons though. Too vague.

ask for feedback and only chastise them for not being forthcoming with how they felt.

They say it anyway but for the most part they're producing their pay and mine

after the initial shock of what you have just listened to go away compose yourself . if you act there and then it may be an irrational reaction . think on what they have said and get them in your office and tell them what you heard and do they want too talk about and explain why [mysteryespresso]
