Hello. How are you ? Of course as many of you already know, today is Father's Day. Having a father in a child's life is just as important as having a mother. And this truth is on all levels. It's better to have two parents instead of one. So let me ask you this question. Is your father still living today or has he passed away. And did you have a good father growing up as a kid. Best answer wins. 🙂.
My dad is still here, My dad has done more than most fathers ever would, my mother has never been in my life and he gave up so much and worked so hard to give me and my sibling a normal life and he done it all on his own. You are right in an ideal world the love from both parents is needed but if it wasn't for him id have the love from neither.
My father died when I was 17, he was 62 years old. We share a profession; he was an auto mechanic, and I became an aircraft mechanic. it has been 39 years since he passed and still hardly a day goes by that I don't think of my dad. I still use some of his tools and when I walk into the shop and smell the fuel or oil, it takes me back to working with him on something as a teenager. If I ever get to be half the man to my children that he was to me, I will consider my life a complete success.
My dad passed away January 2017 from bladder cancer. He was a really good dad. Very kind and gentle. Very hardworking. He came to Canada in 1958 with $50 in his pocket. He applied to an accounting school and after that he became a chartered accountant. He gave us a really good life. I was very lucky to have him as my dad. Eternally grateful to have had him in my life
My father was an intermittent, unreliable parent who left my mother with four girls to bring up by herself. But I think I inherited his scientific mind and we had a pleasant relationship when I grew up and became more interesting to him. Unfortunately it was all too short and he passed away ten years ago.
Dead. He was shot and killed in a bar fight back in 2015. Nope, he wasn’t a good father and had very little to do with me. Mostly only saw him on Christmas at my grandparents house when I was younger.
My Father passed away in 1995, I still miss him. Whenever I am with my grandkids I realize they are as precious to me as my kids were to him. And it makes me happy somehow. Great guy.
