If you moved to a completely new area permanently and you knew nobody there at all, what things would you do to meet new people where you live?

I have moved many times. Not a big deal. Go for a walk. Talk to strangers in the stores, visit neighbors, join churches be active in service clubs. to name just a few things I have done to get to know people
