Putin thought the West would be “too decadent and lazy” to ever sanction oil and gas.

And judging by the pissy little posts here, you can see why he’d think so.

Well the West does think that they are pretty entitled so I can kind of see him thinking that. But I think what he didn't count on is Biden putting the sanctions in place. I have a neighbour who used to load his garbage into his trunk then drive it to the garbage trailer that is less than 200 feet away - he doesn't do that anymore since gas prices went up. So maybe the sanctions will work out to be a good thing in the long run. I also think that sometimes people have to bite the bullet and tuff it out for the greater good which is stopping Putin.
