What is your opinion on yearly car state inspection

Some states only require to be inspected when you buy it.

Some states don’t have any inspection at all some states are every two years or every three years.

I can tell when I'm in a state without inspections. Lots of missing headlights and taillights. It makes me wonder if their brakes work.

@exexec I understand but if it was a real problem your state could make it law. And then they could make money off of it like my state. I wonder why they don’t.
