this is absurd and no real rational logic behind it. Can buy whatever you like in there but if you want alcohol you need to provide proof of vaccination? ummm wtf?

Just my theory, but maybe it's to say... we won't let you starve but we won't let you have the extras that might make you a happier person. I'm kinda seeing this like the idea the unvaccinated won't be allowed to enter restaurants, go to public events/games, etc... Reminding the unvaccinated they are naughty and don't get to do all the fun stuff.
@SW-User it could be that but you could just go to a actual liquor store not far away that does not that that crazy rule and is cheaper anyway. It is only that store that is doing it as far as i know

@ZashaKitty I only know that here some people are feeling superior with the idea they'll get the "extras" that unvaccinated will not. Maybe it's just the beginning there or... Aldi is running on their own agenda. Here, Aldi insists on exact change for your purchase "due to a shortage of change" but no other store has that posted anymore either.
@SW-User Aldi seems to just be absolute crap lol. I have noticed the superiority attitudes of people towards unvaccinated. It is so stupid to me.. Take away Australians alcohol and we will be the country with riots next haha

@ZashaKitty I think many will choose to shop where they are not singled out and separated. I find it interesting that most have no issue with denying things to unvaccinated but get really upset when a business or two deny service to the vaccinated. lol I just saw it as a way to make sure nobody is left out completely since the vaccinated don't want to mix with the terrible unvaccinated.
