I suppose it’s a get out of jail card

The race card lost most of its meaning for me when I was called a racist by a white guy for not renting him a room when the No Vacancy sign was clearly lit 🤦‍♂️

Reminds me a bit of when I was once in a store at the check-out counter and began carefully counting out my money onto the counter to make sure I had the right amount and the lady behind the counter who was black started leterally yelling at me for being a racist who didn't want to touch her hands. I was shocked, I was just trying to make sure I had the right amount, nothing more or less.

Sounds like she was extremely ashamed, hence the defensiveness.

The irony level is strong with this one. Nuff said.
