Mental illness is not trendy or cool to have

Seems to be a lot of people online and in person who fake mental illnesses now and think it is some cool label to attach to themselves. Tik Tok is flooded with it and yeah when you actually have a real mental illness, It does not make you trendy or cool and there is really no positives to it.
It bothers me that people are so very desperate to attach labels on themselves that now this has become just as bad as those who fake it for financial gain or whatever else..

Also self diagnosing yourself isn't a actual diagnosis

That's harsh and comes with a little judgment of things you might not know about. There are things in this world I still don't understand at my age and sometimes I partake in them.

@thewindupbirdchronicles I understand self diagnosing is never good
@ZashaKitty And labelling isn't either? I remember being young, seeing things in blanket terms. Some blame older generations for what they also called gross violations towards a person... and then you re-think were the ideas themselves a gross misinterpretation?

I know from those words you won't believe I'm a very caring and loving person, but I am. I just understand things on different levels, and one place I won't place judgment on is mental illness.

I don’t find you harsh at any level.
I find you simply honest on what you see.
