Please could you define what "a good sense of humour means"? (to you personally)

Sometimes on dating sites I often see a certain type of lady - the type who might describe her self as "bubbly" or insist that the guy has to have "banter" (as if thats solely up to him) - who says she is looking for someone with a Good Sense Of Humour (or GSOH).

I'm never quite sure what this means. How can you apply "good" to a concept like "humour"?

Aside from screaming in pain, or swearing at frustration, Humans are never so honest as when they are laughing.

Perhaps what they're saying is that the guy must share in their sense of humour. But if that's the case, they better go into a bit more detail than just 'good'.

So please, when it comes to laughter (which is one of the most important things in the world) what is the best type of humour?

Or at least could you say how many different types of humour they are?

@TheDeathOfOzymandiaz you find the people on dating sites who go about GSOH to be funny in themselves? As if they are just there for your amusement, almost like clowns?
@Jm31xxx i would need to speak to them first

@TheDeathOfOzymandiaz OK. But do you personally have a "good" sense of humour or is not something you need to work on? No judgement, just a query?
@Jm31xxx That would depend on who you ask. Sometimes I do sometimes I dont.
