You ever come back to this place...

Yes. I’ve been there. But you get over it. Move on to new experiences and new friends, and you never know when an old one will be rekindled. ;)

No, I guess not. I do love chatting here and have made a lot of friends along the way, but maybe I expect the friendships to be short term. Someone else comes to take their place and only the names change.

Thanks to the floating heads banner adorning the top of the home page, I’m reminded of several connections that simply no longer exist. The emptiness echoing what was has been so deep here lately. Not fond of that at all but I try to focus on the smiles still waiting to be had here, otherwise I’d drown in nostalgia because it…the vibe, people, posts really were groovy once upon a time.

Oh definitely.. this place is haunted for me. All the ghosts of yesterday. I just want to go back in time and do things different for those I've lost one way or the other.

Yeah... I miss departed members - some passed away, some left never to return, some blocked me... and some I had to block.

Jeeze, some days I log in and I could cry at how empty my inbox is compared to how it used to be. At one point I could pick and choose who I spoke to and when... now I'm lucky to get a "Good morning" message from my man.

I reached out to someone who I used to talk to a few months ago... he hasn't been around in almost a year now. I miss my friend.

Yes, I feel the same. A few remain close friends but many have left or don't respond. I miss chatting about family, hobbies, travel, etc. I don't know many of the new people here.

Sad for what you hoped could be, but isn't... yup... and it's suddenly sad on a deeper level, which is extra odd, because just moments ago you were on the surface layer, not a deeper level... it's strange, like you punch a wall and expect your knuckles to hurt, but for some reason your back is hurting more than your knuckles.

I disappear for whatever reason on here, and will come back seeing some have left. What worse is when you have great comverstations (you think) about whatever and they suddenly disappear. Those hurt a bit.

There are things I’d like to do over but if these people are gone and don’t keep in touch I think that says a lot about how relevant you were in their life.

Yes but for me it's sadness about lost love. Hits me hard sometimes here and I have to log out

Some of these that have left for 1 reason or another I miss immensely but that is how social media works. Wish they had a least sent me a message saying goodbye.

I’m a chronic new user for that reason. I like a good clean slate. Not a huge fan of nostalgia..
