I'm turning 40 next year and I'm thinking about having a baby via sperm donation. Thoughts?

Well if you have really thought this through. The good and the bad.

Once a baby arrives, your life is no longer yours for years to come.
Yeah as they get older they are less time consuming but the financial hits you take are worse.

Plus you get to fight the school system all over again.

My opinion is that 40 is no age to be having a baby. Our energy level and tolerance for BS both drop pretty fast.

Plus if you are doing artificial insemination, it is not like there will be any father around to help with raising nor paying for it.

@CestManan i don't really see the point of going on if i'm not going to have a family.
