With new virus strain announced today "the African varient."
What are we gonna do as this strain is said to be more deadly n more dangerous to health n existing vaccines won't help effectively to fight against it!!

I think that mutation has the potential to make newer strains more potent than others, but this rhetoric being pushed around in the media about every new strain being "more deadly than the last" is fearmongering, an attempt to control the actions and beliefs of the populace. I'm not attempting to imply or make a statement about the effectiveness of the vaccines, or lack thereof, but I think we should be wary of who is saying what, how they're saying it, and how their careful choice of the words they use to describe their own point of view could reveal to us the "why" behind the way they're telling their side of the story.
