i did. But now I think its more how people make you feel or how you make them feel. Then that feeling dissappears and all of a sudden all the magic starts to evaporate!
FeetAreFantastic · 41-45, M
I'm not sure what 'soul mate' even means, honestly.
Zonuss · 41-45, M
Yes. Soulmates do exist. Why. Because we have a specific path in life we are supposed to follow. And since birth we are directed to that path. Our life partner if done correctly, is usually a main entity. Of course spouses pass away and make room for another. Some people bypass their soulmates and marry their karmic partner. The twin flame soulmate is the person you cannot deny or live without. The twin flame clone is the imposter. They only like your energy so they try and occupy that space made for the real twin flame. So yes we do have soulmates. It's all about knowing. And there are those who know. Thank you. 🙂 🔥

It's all a roll of the dice. Some are very lucky, others not so much.

@SW-User Well said!

I don’t think there’s a person you were always meant to be with. A connection is something you forge with a person. Love can take work and the idea that you get with someone and you’ve reached the finish line is going to leave some people disappointed with the reality of a relationship.
Magenta · F
No. If that were a true concept, what of all those who thought they did, to only have it end horribly.

I do believe in a deep connection, mentally and emotionally though.
Can it happen .. I guess. Think its pretty rare you find someone you are that compatible with/matched to and that it lasts.

Life happens to us all .. but a lot of people don't adapt well, people generally grow apart.
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
In the sense that that there is one person you are predestined to be with?

God no. You could redefine the term into something more realistic and less uh, insane and that'd be cool.
Straylight · 31-35, F
@CountScrofula There’s a romanization of romance that raises people’s expectations to unrealistic degrees.
Beautywithin · 36-40, F
Oh yes but there is definitely more than just one in your lifetime
SW-User
I’m not so sure anymore
Rambler · M
Yes, but that doesn't necessarily mean we ever find them
Not particularly. I certainly believe in mutual attraction, similar interests and values and then as feelings develop there is a strong overpowering feeling of this person being the one person meant for you but I think that's more a of a biological trick to make people reproduce.
leeloh · F
I believe in suitability.

Certain elements create stronger bonds with other elements.
summersong · F
I’d like to but I’m not sure that I do
Eklipse · F
Don't remind me about it 😓
Sweetpoison · 36-40, F
NickiHijab · F
Yes. More than one and I don't think they're all romantic either.
LittleBallOfFire · 22-25, F
@NickiHijab I agree
Definetly if you are easy going and accept people for who they are, flaws and all and they accept you for yours. Because perfection does not exist. We all have our quirks.
I used too. Now I think it doesn't matters at all.
LadyJ · F
Well i thought I'd met mine a few times 😏🙄
Keepitsimple · 51-55, F
There is “a person” for different periods of our life.
Jeremi · 41-45, M
absolutely not
Softandsweet2 · 31-35, F
Maybe - if you have a really sucky soul.
SW-User
Nah. There are loads of suitable partners for most people
JustNik · 51-55, F
I believe strong connections are possible. And while I like those romantic bits about stardust and soul mates and all that, at the heart of it, I wouldn’t feel the need to put someone in a prefabricated box like that. I don’t know everything that contributes to that spark of connection some find.
HotMessExpress102 · 41-45, F
Yes I do, but... I don’t believe they’re the person you’re supposed to be with.

I believe that a soulmate enters your life to show you the best and worst parts of yourself to help you grow.

To me it’s a “soulmate” not a physical, human mate.

Just my .02 ☺️
Katy000 · F
@HotMessExpress102 I very much agree

Answer is always the same. Nope.
People don't even know what the soul is.
@SW-User People who are true lovers have a great soul. Soul is life.
Fluffybull · F
@SW-User Agree."soulmate" is just a vague, idealistic concept.
