Home Depot vs. Lowes

After a longstanding debate with @dolphincookie I hereby
publicly concede that Lowe's is superior to Home Depot and typically has better stock and more options for the average home project.

I use both HD and Lowe's, but neither in our area provides much customer service. A new Ace Hardware opened near me, and I buy most small things there. Customer service is outstanding, and I'm willing to pay a little more.

Based on my experience, I am surprised you can find any customer service in Ace Hardware (or much stock). I have to admit that they are the place to go for screws, bolts, etc. @exexec

Not the one near my house. You are lucky if you can find anyone that doesn't turn away if they think you are getting ready to ask a question. @exexec

@exexec Ace hardware stores are leaps and bounds better. For one, they don't try and tell you a piece of hardware doesnt exist just because they dont have it on their shelves or carry it in stomach like HD and Lowes employees do.
