I use both HD and Lowe's, but neither in our area provides much customer service. A new Ace Hardware opened near me, and I buy most small things there. Customer service is outstanding, and I'm willing to pay a little more.

I worked at Lowes many years ago and I am still a loyal customer but I was just saddened when I was trying to continue to validate the Lowes is better debate.

I have about 600 shares of Lowes stock from when I managed there.

Guess what Lowes is still better.

Both are pretty shitty but she's right. Lowes usually has a better and more complete selection of building materials and options.
