Lol, looking this god gene thing up, it gets negative reactions from both the scientific and religious communities.

The scientific because it is only one part of many genes related to higher order thoughts, which covers everything from mysticism to what political party you might join.

The religious side hates it because they think it's a reductionist way of viewing faith and could be linked to other internal ways we imagine things that do not exist.

Even calling it the god gene comes from a single unpublished and unreplicated study 🤣
