Definition of Liberal

a. Favoring reform, open to new ideas, and tolerant of the ideas and behavior of others; not bound by traditional thinking; broad-minded. See Synonyms at broad-minded.
b. Of, relating to, or characteristic of liberalism.
c. Liberal Of, designating, or characteristic of a political party founded on or associated with principles of social and political liberalism, especially in Great Britain, Canada, and the United States.

So how is it the liberals are constraining free thought? I would have posted this in reference to original post, except yet another name caller has blocked me. Ah, civility.

LOL.

And Obamacare was referred to as "The Affordable Care Act". Yet it's certainly nothing close to affordable.

@carpediem Have you found something cheaper, short of going bare and then sticking us property tax payers by going to the public hospital for ER care?
carpediem · 61-69, M
@dancingtongue Obamacare doubled my costs for me and my employees.
dancingtongue · 80-89, M
@carpediem Because it required you to actually have BENEFITS rather than pay some rip-off insurer who is going to deny everything.

@dancingtongue Dumbass. All my people had insurance. And with half the deductables. It doubled my cost and theirs. You don't know shit. Dumbass.

@carpediem Spent 40 years in the health care field, how about you? Cheap insurers, particularly those out of Texas, offer you everything until it comes time to pay out. Then you find it was pre-existing conditions, or not a covered benefit, or Mother May I and mother says no.

@dancingtongue I spent 30 years in business. BCBS wasn't some cheap insurance. You don't have a clue.

@carpediem Hey, you might have a good deal. Without knowing the particulars, you might be right in your situation. But in broad general terms, those cheap insurance plans were and are rip offs that never pay out anything significant. All the political cries for just allowing these Texas and other unregulated state insurers to be offered nationwide was asking to give a blank check to the con men.
