And wihout money how are we going to be able.to ride a car? There would be times where if we are on a boat to get to one place because air flights will be shut down due to covid situation and how new virus showing up everyday. @nightjourney Start with mustard and stinging nettle, both easy to identify, both tasty. There are thousands of different types of mustard, most are easy to identify and are good to eat. There are even plants that people used to dope fish, but I won't give any names. Another good thing to practice is setting snares.
Your premise, that this will become necessary is untrue. There is still plenty of Oil in the World, the only reason the U.S. makes it expensive is so that the Oilers can have big hefty profits. The U.S. actually forced Saudi Arabia to produce less oil under the Trump administration so that American Oilers can make more money. Also, why not just use electric cars? Not only are there not enough horses, but feeding a horse and keeping it alive and healthy is too costly. Most people don't have room for a horse in their house.
Archery is cool though, but there are not enough animals to hunt. If 1/10 of people started hunting their food all of a sudden, we would kill every animal in the country within days.
Boats are also cool, but if you try sailing to another country they will shoot you out of the water and or deport you.

Under Trump, gas prices were lower than they were under Obama (and certainly under Biden) because he deregulated the oil industry and allowed us to access our own resources. We became energy independent under Trump and the prices went down, not up. Biden came in and one of the first things he did was undo Trump era policies and executive orders, returning us to dependence upon OPEC. As a result, current gas prices in my area today are $4.03/gallon when they were $1.98 a year ago. So all this crap about how it isn't Biden's fault is a blatant, deliberate lie, and isn't fooling most of the public anymore.
This is what happens when people anti-elect someone for president just because they hated the last guy for having a potty mouth and being a jerk. Anybody who voted for Biden just because they hated the orange man, if you wanna complain about shortages and the things going on right now, you've got no right to complain, because you voted for this to happen. Why complain about what you voted for?

What happens here will in many respects affect Canada, don’t forget that. We are physically contiguous and as we’re seeing, borders do not always secure the sovereignty of a nation. The US/ Canadian border is quite porous...so you’ve no idea who is entering your country from here. Yes, pay attention to what goes on here. It can and very likely to some extent will affect you and your fellow Canadians.
I can all but no much of a swimmer and would not need a bout as I shore fish. I have lots of gun, ammo and reload my own bullets. I also hut very well and live in an area with plentiful game. I would survive and feel very sorry for the whiny liberals as they would not last long and I would not feed the worthless pigs.
