What is the point of going to the doctors ‽..😵

[c=359E00]If I was to die, i rather die on the spot than go to to doctors, because I'm going to die anyways. So what is the point? Somewhere to go?..ya maybe. But I could've used that time to do something else. Like going to the store and shopping for boots for the winter..which i still need to do...😵[/c]
[c=005E2F]from 3 days ago i been experiencing this itch from my left foot near the toe area. And it's wierd because it only starts itching, really bad at that, at 1am. And when i wake up and walk on it in the morning i can feel a huge bump underneath the left toe, almost like it's inflamed. And as the days went by it became worse. Like it is red bumbs and red rashy like. Like right now it feels dry and rubery. Itches only when i touch it. But I am afraid of tonight again becsuse every night the itching becomes worse 😭 Ya, so i went to the doctor this morning. He said some type of allergy. I asked could it be my blanket? He nodded no it's not that. I am like the cold? Hes like nope...he's like could be socks you wearing. But if it was my socks wouldn't it be both my feet? He asked me if i still have this cream he gave me way back in December. And thats a cream for something else. A rash that was on my face so maybe🤔 😂😂😂. But he gave me a percription for the cream again. But if only i had a decisive explanation in what the heck it's from. They just look at it and right away print a precription for some type of medicine. Like they are saying here, this might help and if it doesn't oh well your money went to waste. Ok, maybe it would do the job, in the most part, but i like an explanation too you know.. huu smh🤦‍♀️[/c]
[c=BF0000]question:[/c] [c=003BB2]am i wrong?[/c]
[c=002673]like my right foot is completly normal 👽🤷‍♀️[/c]

[c=003BB2]anyways heres a picture on my way there 📸[/c]

There was an old lady who swallowed a fly
I don't know why she swallowed a fly - perhaps she'll die!

There was an old lady who swallowed a spider,
That wriggled and wiggled and tiggled inside her;
She swallowed the spider to catch the fly;
I don't know why she swallowed a fly - Perhaps she'll die!

There was an old lady who swallowed a bird;
How absurd to swallow a bird.
She swallowed the bird to catch the spider,
She swallowed the spider to catch the fly;
I don't know why she swallowed a fly - Perhaps she'll die!

There was an old lady who swallowed a cat;
Fancy that to swallow a cat!
She swallowed the cat to catch the bird,
She swallowed the bird to catch the spider,
She swallowed the spider to catch the fly;
I don't know why she swallowed a fly - Perhaps she'll die!

There was an old lady that swallowed a dog;
What a hog, to swallow a dog;
She swallowed the dog to catch the cat,
She swallowed the cat to catch the bird,
She swallowed the bird to catch the spider,
She swallowed the spider to catch the fly;
I don't know why she swallowed a fly - Perhaps she'll die!

There was an old lady who swallowed a cow,
I don't know how she swallowed a cow;
She swallowed the cow to catch the dog,
She swallowed the dog to catch the cat,
She swallowed the cat to catch the bird,
She swallowed the bird to catch the spider,
She swallowed the spider to catch the fly;
I don't know why she swallowed a fly - Perhaps she'll die!

There was an old lady who swallowed a horse...
She's dead, of course!

It's not a waste to see a doctor when something is wrong with your body. Especially so if it's something that can give you insight into an issue like this. I'd ask for an allergy test. It might be that you're allergic to something you use or eat, or something your foot is coming into contact with. Maybe it's an infection causing the reaction... Could be any number of things.

As for your idea of "They studied for so long, they should know what this is!" that isn't how diagnostic medicine is performed. Tests should be run, symptoms and causes should be researched... They rely on other doctors, testing, and published documents to help diagnose issues. They don't study every little symptom and disease, and can haul it back up like a super computer.

@nightjourney It could be something in the basement that your body is starting to react to. If you aren't in the basement very much outside of changing or sleeping, it could explain something.

@nightjourney Could be something that suddenly developed. I'm pretty sure I developed a mild allergy, as I'm getting random hives.

Don't waste your money on the creams. And make it easy on your doctor. Cut off the toe just beyond the itch line and then he'll have a problem that doesn't require guess work and prescriptions you might not even need.

@nightjourney Date???? You're getting the wrong idea...I'm sorry. I already have someone that falls down for no reason when I chase her.

Doctors make money by treating NOT curing. In the end you will have to be your own detective. Laundry detergent, something you are eating, fluoride added to the water supply is definitely high on the list.

He take blood? That might be helpful. First time you’re experiencing this? Are you aware of/familiar with gout? Painful, inflammation and sometimes feels rubbery, too.
What is your doctor’s specialty?
@nightjourney Then I’d say give it a few more days, but if it continues or in any way gets worse, either return to the doctor you saw or try and locate a foot doctor. Good luck.

I'm sorry. Maybe you should go to another doctor if that cream doesn't work? 😊

@nightjourney Okay, but be careful.

@nightjourney I will try.

You may have been bitten by something, OR that particular foot wore a sock that came in contact with something to which you are allergic.

I’ve lost trust in doctors. I’ll die naturally without the meds they push on you

@nightjourney I don’t know. I have adenomyosis and it always acts up on Sundays around noon. Kills me for about two hours with pain. Then disappears until the following Sunday. Some things are just unexplainable

The problem is that so many symptoms are vague and could relate to many different things, so the doctor has to go through a process of elimination. They can't always make a firm diagnosis in the first instance, so they have to try something. Their initial assessment will be whether or not the problem is indicative of anything serious. If not then they can afford to wait for any further symptoms to develop if necessary.

@nightjourney It doesn't matter how long you study when symptoms are vague. It's like if you went with a cough and asked for a diagnosis. It could be a cold, could be flu, could be Covid-19, could be bronchitis, could be cancer, could be an allergy, could be asthma, etc. Sometimes they can only treat you via a process of elimination.

Dab it with alcohol. It will help to stop the itch.
