@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout The U.S. Supreme Court, in an opinion by Justice John Marshall Harlan I, ruled that the state of Massachusetts acted constitutionally within its police powers to pass a law to protect the health and safety of the public.
“According to settled principles, the police power of a State must be held to embrace, at least, such reasonable regulations established directly by legislative enactment as will protect the public health and the public safety,”
@plaguewatcher But when the state becomes a proven liar and neglects to tell the people of the dangers of the vaccine while granting special privileges for select individuals to not be required to take it, we know its BS.
@Subsumedpat yep. All these crooked politicians and the whack job puppet at the CDC all have their greedy hands in this with pharma and insurance companies. Before the end of this term they will be jabbing us for monkey pox.
@DViper97 I feel it is important to have things the other way around too, if you are paying for a choice then you should have a say in it. Like if the government wants to engage in a 20 year war in the middle east those of us paying for it should have a say.
I know someone who gave up volunteering after 10 years in an emergency service (nsw SES) because he was being forced to get the vax to keep volunteering. I know some teachers and nurses who had to get it to keep their paid jobs.

@DViper97 Yeah. And not to mention the establishments and restaurants that ban people with no vaccine proof from dine in.
I chose to boycott those instead. I am vaccinated, not that it would have been my choice. I felt forced because I have to earn. But really, the people should make them see the effect of losing loyal customers. Though truth is, people tend to act like sheep when our lifestyles are affected. Especially when it comes to our need to provide and help our families
@1pebbles I agree. Had COVID last year and both doctors tell me I don’t need the jab. Unfortunately it’s get it or get terminated thanks to Brandon. I can’t afford to be without work.
