What was the hardest thing you actually forgave someone for?

How is your relationship with them today if you still talk to them? What was the toughest thing you've ever genuinely forgiven someone for? What's the worst thing you were able to forgive someone for doing to you, and why did you do it? What is the most difficult thing you’ve ever had to forgive someone for doing? How do you truly find forgiveness for someone that has hurt you?
How do you forgive someone that has hurt you? I find myself holding onto a couple grudges. I don't let them consume my mind anymore, but I still feel anger toward the people directly involved when I think about two or three incidents in my life. I don't want to be angry anymore and I've felt that way for a long time now. But I don't seem to have the ability to truly forgive. I'm able to be happy for them, but I still also feel anger toward them. What has been the hardest thing for you to forgive, and how did you start forgiving? What is the hardest thing you have had to forgive someone for? How did you come to forgive that person?

Betrayal. Lying to me. I’m still working on my ability to forgive. It’s a struggle. I think consistency and reassurance from the other party helps. Also when I feel the black snakes of the emotional incident come, I try to think of something else. It’s very hard for me to forgive someone who truly hurt me. I admire people who can forgive easily. I relate to your feelings.
Thanks for BA@LilithoftheTrees

When your get older you realise that some things were not personal.. it’s just human to give into temptation..
wether it’s love or money..

People aren't perfect and I forgive easily, too easily. I think sometimes you have to give some hll for a while, but that's not how I am.
