My most recent ex, we are best mates, and we are better off and get each other better that way, we just wanted different things in the relationship that didn’t suit each other in the end. We still had a great relationship otherwise, just I’m too wild and she’s too tame and it doesn’t work, but why let that one difference ruin the friendship we always had all along.
The relationship part was just a beautiful dream that just had to die in the end for the greater good. And honestly I couldn’t of asked for a better friend in my life to be honest.

@DoubleRings if either of us moved on neither of us would be phased or jealous by it, because all we want for each other is to be happy, although the only thing either of us would be upset about is not hanging out as much lol.

Yeah, but I like how calm my thoughts have been since the break up. Right now she isn't talking to me much, and if we were together I'd probably be really confused and panicky about that.

@SimplyMeChantou don’t lose hope. I was livid with one ex. There’s a fine line between love and hate. Chances are if she hates you, she actually doesnt.

When I was mad with my ex it was a live wire for 3 years. Hated him. Then one time he apologized in a grocery store when we bumped paths. Suddenly I wasn’t so angry. I sat on my couch in deadpan silence for an hour pretty confused about how I felt after that.

Yes, there is one that I was too I experienced at the time to understand that relationships take hard work. It would have been worth it. She is the one who got away.

Yes very much... But it was nothing but total drama and I just needed a change..... It's always like that with relationships, in the beginning it's wonderful towards the end it's just fighting and drama...

I miss the connection of the one I was in love with and considered asking to marry me.

I also miss the last one, because it sucks being lonely and single. Plus she was sweet as hell, loved to cuddle. I just didn't love her :( and I tried really hard to. I do miss her, still talk with her at times.

@Viper Yeah. I can relate to that last one. I tried really hard to love someone who was really sweet and nice but he was not for me. I just couldn’t love him even though I tried.

To be fair though he was rather opinionated and a bit weird. I couldn’t connect with him.

Also had a deep connection with someone too. I miss it.

I don't miss any of the guys I dated before marriage. I'm glad my ex is gone, but sometimes, I regret that he changed so much. There are days I sort of miss the person he used to be 20 to 30 years ago.
