My most recent ex, we are best mates, and we are better off and get each other better that way, we just wanted different things in the relationship that didn’t suit each other in the end. We still had a great relationship otherwise, just I’m too wild and she’s too tame and it doesn’t work, but why let that one difference ruin the friendship we always had all along.
The relationship part was just a beautiful dream that just had to die in the end for the greater good. And honestly I couldn’t of asked for a better friend in my life to be honest.

@BalladOfADeadSoulja sweet story!
@DoubleRings when we first broke up, it was bitter though but hearts were broken but in time we just had mature discussions about what went wrong and because we both had the cooling off period, the chat was so chill and it went for a 5 minute catch up to a drink up with no awkwardness whatsoever it was like when we were friends before we were dating except it was like the dating part was like a dream.

@BalladOfADeadSoulja i understand. there are some exes i talk to and wonder why i didn’t see their problems in the beginning and then others I talk to like as if we never missed a beat. Like old friends often do.
@DoubleRings if either of us moved on neither of us would be phased or jealous by it, because all we want for each other is to be happy, although the only thing either of us would be upset about is not hanging out as much lol.

@BalladOfADeadSoulja Just don’t tell the new partners you dated if it’s truly platonic now? Although the partner will prob wanna meet you then it gets silly.
@DoubleRings I’m honest all the way so they’ll know what’s up so there’s no awkwardness.
