🎲 ❓ Miscellaneous / Random for Uncategorized Posts 🔀 💡

If you'd like to post on Similar Worlds, without bothering to place your post in an appropriate section,
or, if you simply don't know how you should categorize your post,

Did you know... 💡🤔
there is a "Random" Post Type ❓ 🤷‍♂️

as well as the Groups: "Miscellaneous" & "Random" 🎲 ?

(however, correctly placing your post helps other users to find content they might be interested in)

Post Type: Random (Miscellaneous, Uncategorized, Random)

Section: Fun & Games > Miscellaneous

Section: Fun & Games > Random

Please note that Intentional Spamming/Miscategorization of posts, is against the TOS,
and is disrespectful to the rest of the SW community, who may have interest in seeing relevant content in the groups they are subscribed to.

All users, kindly be considerate to others.

Affecting other user's usage and enjoyment of this site, by intentionally making off-topic posts in the Groups others are utilizing, isn't the right thing to do.

You can easily post on SW at any time you want, by simply using the already provided
[ Miscellaneous / Uncategorized / Random ] labeling,
IF you don't wish to correctly categorize your post.

Intentional Spamming/Miscategorization of posts, is against the TOS,

So I get this, but how would you guys know if it's intentional or a mistake?

@latinbutterfly my best guess: if the category for one post isn't the best fit but the post does fit it remotely, it's probably a "mistake", or no problem anyway. If 50 posts in a row don't have anything to do with the category they are posted in, and you can't find the vaguest connection using your wildest imagination, it's probably intentional.

Of course there is a huge gray area in between, but from what I've seen about this, warnings have only been issued in the most extreme cases like the last example.
