When I was younger, I used to copy other people and become them, absorbing their personality.
No worries... everyone does that too some extend. It's part of the human condition. You want diffrent ideas? Read a book by someone that chalenges your vieuwpoints. Just watch out that you don't break yourself. There is some pretty extreme literature out there.
@Kwek00 Yeah, but I would do that to get attention. There were girls at my school much shyer than I am, and they were getting more attention than me, so I directed the attention to me by being the girl’s personality so I would get attention. There were girls at my school asking about my personality. They asked if I was ‘shy’, but I flat out said ‘no’ ‘I’m not shy!’. In Kinder I was told I was too quiet and needed to be heard since I talked like a mouse and still do. It’s hard to hear my voice which sounds like mumbling.
I’m an introvert.
And when I wanted attention, I did what I could to gain it. This only happened in school settings or during public when I threw myself on the floor especially when I was carried by my parents to have people notice me. I wanted strangers’ attention.
@MangoMegalodon Well, I'm not the person to talk too for that issue. But you are supposed to go through a process of trial and error, till you find a way to get into a position that feels good too you and others like you for. Good luck.
This sounds all too familiar. Write, it's one of my favorite outlets of expression and connection. Some times, I write things that make me wonder where I even got it from.
Although, shame on me lately for losing my writing touch.
