I dreamt I was at a party and Aldous Huxley was there

then a friend of mine comes to me and says" who's that guy who won't stop talking, he's so annoying" and I'm like " DUDE, don't talk like that, that's Aldous Huxley !!!!"

Was he funny or serious?

I read many of his novels - Crome Yellow, the deeply moving Point, Counterpoint, the absurd Those Barren Leaves and my absolute favorite The Genius and the Goddess, And Island which took me 3 reads to get...and yeah BNW...

@fun4us2b he was serious, deep, passionate, thinking carefully of his words, like he is in every interview I ever saw of him. he pretty much always has the same tone of voice.

@fun4us2b I would love to read more stuff from him, I only read brave new world and doors of perception.

@reflectingmonkey The Genius and the Goddess is not to be missed...It's very accessible and has a lot of good stuff about human relations in it. Crome Yellow is harder, but I think beautifully written. Point, Counterpoint is really heavy, not an easy read, but unforgettable, however, might be lightly dated now.
