Do u let "strangers" use your cell phone in an emergency ?

This morning I allowed a young lady to use my cell phone. This was while I was at Wal Mart. I have seen her around time many times before. I think she has a crush on me. 🙂 She asked me to use my phone so she can call her mother. I gave her that look you know. 🙄 But once she let me know who she was gonna talk to, I let her use it. It was no problem. But I rarely do this. I normally do not let anyone use my phone at all. Was I right to do her a favor. Do you let strangers use your phone in an emergency, or not.

@summersong can you please explain that reaction?

@samueltyler2 i live in NYC. People steal phones all the time. A child is almost always in greater need of help and less likely to have their own phone so it is more worth the risk than an adult who may very well be running a scam.

@summersong Interesting point. I had not thought of that. I guess I am too trusting, although i have lived in the greater NYC area most of my life!
