I think the difference is that while technology is still advancing, it's more or less become homogenized for our everyday lives and the differences will be much more subtle.

@DDonde Ugh, the Iraq War. Lied into an illegal war by our own intelligence community and we're STILL there. One of my closest friends talks about it a lot. His mother worked for the Department of Homeland Security at the time we invade Iraq; fucking Donald Rumsfeld was her boss.
