The best way to quit your job is to find something you are good at that is so much more positive in your life. Then have the confidence to create value in it and present it to the world 😊💕 but in these trying times hold onto your income until you replace it with something better 💕
Oh sure. Three times. 😂😂😂 No big deal! I always re-invent myself, when necessary, and where there's a will, there's a way!! I just go into business for myself. Or look till I find another job. It's always worked. Life is too short to be miserable. If you dream it, you can do it! If it's not working, change it!

@LadyGrace I love being a nurse but sometimes it just gets to me
@Sunnykel76 Sure. Bless your heart. You may have a little burn out. I sure appreciate doctors and nurses.

lou502008 · 61-69, M
might as well...it's going to be better than working for 30 cents of every Dollar earned after this Administration!
BiasForAction · M
LOL--I did that in July and still looking for a new job. I regret nothing.
Sunnykel76 · 46-50, F
@BiasForAction that's my fear I'll be out a job for too long. With 2 kids in college I gotta work.
SethGreene531 · M

@Sunnykel76 😕 Sigh. Oh well. What to do..
WindTherapy · 56-60, M
Some days are trying. But for the most part I enjoy what I do and work with some decent people. Have had a few along the way I didn't care for but it's been the exception and not the norm. I'm kind of getting my sights on retirement now....so not going to make any drastic changes.
Sunnykel76 · 46-50, F
@WindTherapy everyday my patient is so verbally abusive it's hard to swallow at times.
WindTherapy · 56-60, M
@Sunnykel76 Poor dear. I'm sorry to hear that. It would be very hard to work in that kind of environment. And honestly you shouldn't have to. I could very well see getting away from it. It will drain you more than the physical aspect of the job. My thoughts are with you. 🤗
Sunnykel76 · 46-50, F
@WindTherapy thank you 🤗

SW-User
Yep and I’m having one of those days today about it

Repete · 70-79, M
Yep and I did . Might not be the best choice for most people and I should have held on for a few more months but I made it. I left singing ( take this job and shove it) , I didn’t say how good I sang but I’ve been happy ever since.
walked off the job a few times. many many years ago. 2001 or something like that.
Sunnykel76 · 46-50, F
@YourMomsSecretCrush I had to take a few minute break outside in 22°
@Sunnykel76 i feel ya...... been there too. i was so fuming hot that the sub freezing temp actually helped to cool me down. LOL
Repete · 70-79, M
Just realized I said the same thing 5 months ago . Lol and still feel the same way but I hope you’ve either found another job or doing better there.
rjc36 · 61-69, M
I have wanted to on many occasions but it pays the bills and it is stable employment.
Donotfolowme · 51-55, F
Yes, I have done that thrice in my life. First time I was too young and first break up I couldn't concentrate so I quit few days after joining.
Second and third- I was getting played via their dirty politics. They were changing my depts frequently and then questioning performance. I refused to be played and quit. I don't regret for a second.

@SW-User I've been looking 😊

SW-User
@Sunnykel76 It's such a strange market. Nobody wants to commit long term. It seems like everything is a contract job.

SW-User
Many times.
Sunnykel76 · 46-50, F
@SW-User I've never done it yet, but I'm getting older and more hormonal

Sounds like a great day to win Powerball, or look out the front window to see a Publisher's Clearing House van and some TV or sports personality holding balloons and an oversized check walking to your doorway.
HUGS
Sunnykel76 · 46-50, F
@questionWeaver thank you. Im gonna take a lap...
Repete · 70-79, M
Yes and did . I was at the same place of work for over 15 years and I quit, walked out and haven’t looked back. Thinking of the song , take this job and shove it ,I ain’t working here anymore.

Not a teenager anymore, yes regularly
froggtongue · M
I want to do that every day.

I was miserable for six months at my last company. Thankfully I waited it out, interviewed and found a great job that pays more - along the coast 🌴
