Depends on the reason and execution.

Reason: Whatever they did, did it cause any permanent damage? Physical, emotional, mental, etc. Siz they do so out of malice, ignorance, or was it an accident? Did they at all try to make amends? Are they the kind of person(s) that might do it again? To the original victim or to another?

Execution: Do so only if justice cannot or will not be served. Make it clear why it happened so it's not confused for coincidence or bad luck. It should cause no greater damage than what they did tti deserve revenge(this is negotiable depending on the degree of what they did).

Yes depending on what the revenge is.

Not really. I don't care much about revenge, but I do like giving people a taste of their own medicine. Making people realize how they've been treating someone is satisfying. It doesn't need to involve vengeance, however.

I’ve only had revenge taken on me, so I wouldn’t know. But they seem pleased with themselves.
