That's something I'll never understand. I would never want a guy friend to follow me into the bathroom. I remember on a road trip my friend went into the bathroom at a rest stop and though there were other stalls, I waited for him to leave before I went in. It's just awkward and I wouldn't have wanted to talk to him while "going". Girls are comfortable with that kind of thing, I guess.

Depends on the situation. Back in the day, on double dates my best friend and I would excuse ourselves to go do things like touch up lipstick, assess our dates, etc.

Well, as we sometimes have periods that match with each other, best friends also have bladders! Didn't you know?

It's also in the hope, in bars, that our men will buy us the next round of drinks whilst we're gone......

Sometimes places like movie theaters, public swimming pools, school gyms etc, could get really lonely...it's best to have some company around for safety.

I remember when I was in college , my girlfriends wanted me to accompany them so I could hold their purses or their sweaters.

Because we feel safer in groups, plus we use the time to talk privately about stuff. lol

So they can help each other wipe and to enjoy the fragrance of each other's waste. It's like a bonding exercise for them.

So they can chat with each other while they are in a quiet place

umm to have girl talk or take selfies? haha i say selfies because my sister comes here with her kids sometimes and her oldest and 2nd oldest seems like ALWAYS in the bathroom taking selfies with the mirror and im like umm some of us actually need to go to the bathroom LOL
