Does it matter if tape measure belt clip is scratched a bit?

@Thexboxoneguy1991 I am very sure. Scratches show that the owner does not respect his tools.
With that in mind, I would be wondering if the measuring tape would be accurate, given the mistreatment of said tool by said owner🧐

What about this, you go on using your tape measure and if you have any doubts about it's accuracy later on, then maybe think about replacing it.
For now? Give it the benefit of the doubt.

@Gusman yeah I was trying to take off the belt clip plastic that was on it and it scratched the belt clip a tiny bit so what?
