@HoeBag uh, for example mom be like: remember when you were a kid and I told you that dude was no good for you and you didn't listen? and what happened afterwards? and now you're not listening to me about this guy you're with rn is bad for you also...etc

You just have to keep taking the high road. You obviously hurt him badly, but when he sees you've grown up and are a responsible adult and a productive member of society, that will all change. Just keep doing good things!

Ignore it, as he probably takes delight in you responding; but take some comfort from knowing he was never perfect (no-one is) and probably made many mistakes in his life.

My step dad is like that. He brings up things that happened like 30 or more years ago. Like, "Yes, we know, 1969 was such a horrible year in your life, NO ONE CARES!
Of course I do not interact with him for that reason.
