@UnderLockDown Exactly plus the mayor and city council cut their budget so what the hell. They are creating chaos and then want the police to handle it?

@Stereoguy When the cutbacks were announced & they said how many officer jobs and non-officer jobs would be cut at least that many officers put in their resignations to work in other cities, and more have said they are going to take early retirement. So probably twice as many as they were going to cut are quitting. It costs damned near a quarter million dollars to train a cop & put them through the police academy.

@Stereoguy It’s a long process. You can only recall the ones that have been in office less than 6 months. So petitions were circulated and we had enough to recall 3 city council and the mayor. Then the signatures have to be checked as registered voters. There was enough but whoever counted them said one of the city council members didn’t have enough for a recall. Another city council that had enough died of a heart attack. And other resigned because she was moving out of her district & the mayor is going to appoint someone in her place. Too many damned games. You know what kind of cheaters these people are and they are using everything they have.
