Depends on what you are willing to put up with. If you are picky then you are just not going to find anything really cheap.

Many of the sites given are not really cheap. Those try to live up to a certain standard that others just can not afford.

Best bet is to do a little foot work and walk around and look! There are good places where they just refuse to pay the price such apartment sites force them to pay.
