I would be, I'm sure, if I knew what that meant.

@SW-User Just think penguins. Beautiful penguins everywhere! 🐧 🐧

@SW-User 😨

@SW-User So beautiful! No blue screens of death!

SW-User
@SW-User Lol we are talking about computer operating systems

SW-User
@SW-User I know that part. I don't know what dual-boot is.

SW-User
@SW-User Partition your hard drive so it can boot up with either Linux or Windows
UnderLockDown · M
@SW-User dual boot means that he loaded a Linux OS on the same hard drive as his windows system. When you start the computer, it gives you a choice of which OS you want to run.
UnderLockDown · M
@SW-User Oh, and the penguin, named Tux, is the Linux mascot.🐧
SalamiMule · 36-40, M
@UnderLockDown Oh I did one better. I installed a whole separate SSD in the optical drive bay so my Linux OS has its own drive (but basically another partition I can choose while booting, yes).

SW-User
@SalamiMule There’s a Level 10X’er right there! 🙂
UnderLockDown · M
@SalamiMule Good way to do it. Less of a problem if something happens to either OS.👍

SW-User
@SW-User @UnderLockDown Cool Thank you. :)
