Are you proud of me for installing Linux so I can dual-boot my computer?

You should be more proud of me.

I would be, I'm sure, if I knew what that meant.

@SalamiMule There’s a Level 10X’er right there! 🙂
@SalamiMule Good way to do it. Less of a problem if something happens to either OS.👍

Wooohoooo you go dude! very proud!!
Which Linux OS are you running?
SalamiMule · 31-35, M
@UnderLockDown Ubuntu, since it's the same as my office.
@SalamiMule Which system do you like better? I'm a Linux fan, left windows for good when 10 came out. I am so much happier with Linux.🐧
SalamiMule · 31-35, M
@UnderLockDown I'm still new to Ubuntu (used CentOS before that) but I'm liking it a lot. Still haven't tried gaming on it though, so the jury's still out.

🤔....Did you install VMware to run Linux?
SalamiMule · 31-35, M
@Jimmy2016 Nope, just a straight Linux installation on a new internal SSD. I wanted full hardware integration for parallel processing.

@SalamiMule 🤔.....Nice....Good job!

@justanothername For my research code. I'm tired of writing work-arounds for Windows that I'm just going to have to undo once I can use my office computer again.
