A non addictive treatment for severe anxiety that actually works.

Also would like to know if there is enough research on things such as LSD, Ketamine, or other new new mental health treatments?
@Amicus thanks so much. That do sounds very promising

I'm far too late but I would personally do benefits of psychoactive drugs in PTSD and in war vets. Apparently they've known for quite awhile that those drugs can rewire the brain in a good way but because of the "war on drugs" prevents people from seriously using it in a safer setting than just getting it on the street.

Apparently they found that with micro dosing those substances and meditation alongside safe therapy methods, helps manage a whole host of symptoms.

I've never personally tried any of that but it would just be an interest of mine since it deals with the brain and cool things.

"How Big Pharma uses $$$ and political clout to bypass sufficient testing before a drug is sold to the public."

If you listen to commercials in the U.S. the listed side effects of any new drug can take an hour to say each one. Those disclaimers say, "these side effects have been reported". <<REPORTED>> In other words the public taking the drugs are the test subjects for seeing if that drug is safe enough to market. If proper testing was done BEFORE release they wouldn't need to depend on what the "public" reports as side effects.

Since the public is the Guniea Pigs...then obviously adequate testing was not done PRIOR to putting that drug on the market. Why? Because it's makes more money to sell a drug BEFORE it is tested. Testing takes away from pharma profits. So much so it's cheaper to pay off a few lawsuits than it is to test......plus all the time the drug is being tested the company that produced it is losing sales...and taking a chance another company will patent and release the same medication.

So Pharma bribes politicians to not enforce testing and safety rules prior to a drug release. Research that process.......expose it. There's a mountain of material there to do a thesis.
THC gummy bears. LSD groovy bears. The delightful uses of pharmaceutical grade cocaine. OK, I have nothing legit. Hope it at least made you grin. 🙂
Two ideas: natural remedies for schizophrenia instead of the present phara. approach.. OR incorporating the best of it

also research the toxic (not "genetic") causes of autism and develop detoxifying antidotes, using mostly natural and some pharma approaches

Also..why "big pharma" itself is evil and needs to be broken up
Vitamin D deficiencies in most people, and they are more susceptible to illness, including the flu, and including COVID-19..

How most people of color are severely deficient because the melanin in their darker skin greatly reduces the formation of Vitamin D for sunlight.

vanilla as a treatment for psoriasis
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@darkknightt I read about a study done in China using vanilla, doesn't have to be the pure extract because it's vanillin that works. I used it myself by putting a cap full in a smoothie every day & after a month the large patch of psoriasis I had on my lower abdomen went away. I had it for about 6 years & the itching & scaling was intense.

@cherokeepatti That's amazing insight n trial. Will try it for my father in law who has been suffering for years.
Miram · 31-35, F
Best place to find them is in thesis papers, recommendations for further research section. Which is usually after the data collection chapters.
@Miram I want to know too.
Miram · 31-35, F
@darkknightt not research papers, entire thesis because it will help you when you decide on one of the recommendations. They will have definitions of keywords in the literature review section.

The best place by far is your department library. As master degree researcher, you have exclusive access to more publications but you might need acquire a pass from the administration.

Most universities in north america give you access to those publications in pdf form online too but you need to register in the library.

The reason I think it's better in your own department is because the research which proceeded yours is most likely done locally. You need something that you can investigate in your own area to make things less complicated for yourself.

However if you really wish to check out other universities, go to their websites or check out ResearchGate https://www.researchgate.net/ or OATD.org or https://nlp.stanford.edu/projects/dissertations/
@Miram thanks
A better alternative to the pill?
@Invocations any other?
