Sometimes yes, honestly. I think democracy is overrated. At least in my country it often takes forever to make a decision and even then the actual decision is so watered down in an effort to please everyone, that nothing much is left from the original plan or idea.
The Chinese simply say "we're gonna do this" and they just do it. They also plan ahead, decades long in fact, whereas our government looks no further than the next election.
People may not always agree, but I do believe the Chinese government has their country's best interest in mind.

@FeetAreFantastic this is true. I mean there is no better than Chinese workers. They do the job so fast without complaining ! They do not mess around with useless talks. But I think the CCP only cares for the CCP and ordinary people ? not so.
