Live a good life. If there are gods and they are just, then they will not care how devout you have been, but will welcome you based on the virtues you have lived by. If there are gods, but unjust, then you should not want to worship them. If there are no gods, then you will be gone, but will have lived a noble life that will live on in the memories of your loved ones.

God, with a capital "G", is the Creator. I was shocked to learn that even the god and goddess of a pagan religion, (about which I was reading at the time), consider themselves to be children of the Universal Being, or Creator.
What do I think of God? I love God. He has been beside me through the worst days of my life.

I think we tend to create a god after our own prejudices - either a ridiculous caricature to reject because the idea seems nonsensical, or perhaps a god who agrees with our perspective on things and hates the things we hate.
I don't believe in that.
If God exists our most sublime thoughts and imaginings would fall as woefully short of the incomprehensible reality. If we encountered such a God we would not be sitting back in self-righteous moralising judgement on everyone else - but would face ourselves first, with all the pretence and arrogance stripped away...

Question is, what does "existence" mean, in this context? God cannot be measured, weighed, studied in the laboratory. No observation of nature will ever lead to God.
God can only be perceived through our souls.
In this sense, God does not exist.

@helenS True, in a material sense. But since all matter is the manifestation of fields interacting to form particles - to 'exist' materially - which is real - is rather fleeting by comparison to the reality of God.

I think it's sad that so few actually have a connection with God. Many believe they do, but I'm pretty sure that there's a few things they believe in that stands in the way between them and God.
