Told my boss I was exposed to COVID and having symptoms and he didn’t respond

I told my boss earlier this morning I was exposed to COVID (like 4-5 days ago) I told him I was going to have to skip my in person meetings this week just to be safe. Obviously dial in telewise..At least until the results come back etc.. I’ve got an appointment to get tested tomorrow because that’s all that was available. he didn’t write me back at all,. This was like 12 hours ago... he normally writes me back like instantly .. they’ve been really funny about it,. I’m worried it’s going to effect me job wise..

My boss acted weird when I took 2 days off to get my respiratory issues dealt with. I had to have doctors' appointments by phone after typing and faxing letters to the doctor's office about symptoms and when my last cough was (too long ago to qualify for covid testing).

I got 2 prescriptions faxed to my nearest pharmacy and filled within the hour. Very efficient.

I hope you don't have it. I think your boss is probably being avoidant because he's scared.
