@revenant after the Trunp election I wanted to move to Canada, but it seems to have swung the opposite of the US, which is just as unappealing to me.

@revenant It depends what it is. Criminal convictions need the, what used to be referred to as, a pardon, now a record suspension. But for Non-Conviction" information, it has to be removed after five years, but a person needs to apply to the specific police service to get it removed sooner. There are conditions for that too.
