@HannahBee I know I should recycle. But for the life of me I never do anymore.
I try because I don’t like a messy trash can but sometimes I judt throw them in.

masaca yes we have to as they are collected for recycling so it is no hardship when i wash the pots i rinse them out then i hate corn beef tins as i always slice my finger open for some reason

Nope. They go in the same trash bag as the used paper towels and the food scraps and the plastic bottles and the empty bottles and it all goes to the dump.

They attract fewer bugs and take up less space in the can outside

Been doing that for thirty years or so. Wash them out and the labels for worm feed
