I'm terrible.... I'd have them building rafts out of the rubble and making them sail away.

SW-User
@HazPassportForYourGalaxy I'm worse. I'd watch them sail away, then torpedo their useless asses.
HazPassportForYourGalaxy · 51-55, M
@SW-User Okay I have been relegated to bleeding heart underling sir . lol ☺️

My opinion?
Everybody. I think this mess belongs to every one of us. What we didn't do, we allowed to happen.

@Mamapolo2016 Me too.
SmartKat · 61-69, F
@Mamapolo2016 I agree with you. In fact, I’d go further and say the people who cause these problems in the first place (by being selfish and/or racist) should have to do some of the cleanup.
Mamapolo2016 · F
@SmartKat That too. But if we don't realize that not acting right is effectively the same as acting wrong, the future will be grim.

I wonder what's going to happen when they all start showing up with covid? Hospitals will be overwhelmed exactly what the lockdown was supposed to prevent what they are doing is a lot worse than just looting

Everyone who is able. Especially those that have sat on their hands and not engaged in acts of service to their community much of their adult lives.
Especially parents who are looking to model to their young children how we can show support to our disadvantaged neighbors. Especially those of us with the privilege of a safe comfortable home to return to after we've finish shopping in our still operating grocery and pharmacy.
And not just this week.
This should be a a lifestyle change for some of us.
In a few weeks when the food shelves are empty of the recent donations - we will need to keep rising up for our neighbors.
In a few months when school starts back up, systemic racism in the education system will still exist.
The clean up cannot be just the buildings and broken glass. It's an emotional clean up. A process and policy clean up.
Right now we need to educate ourselves who our local elected officials really are so this fall can get to that next phase of clean up in motion, by voting.

Police chiefs for allowing it
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
Everyone. The riots, the cleanup, all of it is social responsibility. And you can see tons of evidence of community cleanup going on across the US - maybe not enough, IDK I'm not on the ground but people do get that.
The rioters who made the damage!!
MarineBob · 61-69, M
Hollywood elitists
gregloa · 61-69, M
The democrats who love it
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@gregloa that’s a good idea
curiosi · 61-69, F
How about the media led by Obama who started all this?

luctoretemergo · 61-69, M
I've said this before so sorry for the re-run...it's going to be us! Cleaning buildings, triple overtime for cops working riot duty, etc. etc. When these "kids", er I mean "young Americans crying for justice", if they actually get a real job after college (which we or their parents pay for), they'll get that first check and see how much taxes they are paying and say "daddy....who stole my money?"....Dad: "well honey, remember those protests you we're so proud of that didn't change anything...the bill has come due!" The end.
wildbill83 · 41-45, M
Garnish the wages of those instigating and participating in them; and no more stimulus checks, tax returns, student loans, government grants, etc. until they've paid off their debt of the damage they've caused...
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@wildbill83 many of the instigators probably work odd jobs for cash if that much.
smiler2012 · 61-69
cherokeepatti the shop owners more than likely not those responsible
Elessar · 31-35, M
When, in history, have rioters/protestors ever paid for something they damaged? Or more in general, vandals?
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@Elessar It’s about time they started. Make an example out of them.
FurryFace · 61-69, M
you , you'd do a great job with Spik'n'span
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@FurryFace not me, I learned a lesson when I was a toddler not to tear up things
Nika2002 · 22-25, F
Volunteers. Don't give rioters a second chance to steal and destroy in the name of foolishness.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@Nika2002 They’d be confined in such a way that they couldn’t leave & go elsewhere. Either they clean it up or be hauled off somewhere else they would hate even worse.

SW-User
The moron imbecile rioters need to be forced to clean it AND then pay dearly for doing the damage. Then they ought to be incarcerated to give them time to chill the feck out.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@SW-User I think they should scrub & clean so much that they’d never want to touch another spray paint can or brick to throw through a window or light a fire to destroy property ever again. They have so much energy to destroy stuff, let them learn the hard way how it is to have to clean up their own messes.
Eddiesolds · 61-69, M
I'd say the losers that did it.so disrespectful! Frikken idiots
