A landmark from my home town of Hood River Oregon is the Hood River Middle School main building. I teach on the 3rd floor... behind the flagpole. The building was originally a high school... made in 1928. It now has 5 buildings and 600 + students in grades 6,7,and 8. This is the North side of the building... you can see the Columbia River and Mt. Adams from the school.. A 2nd real landmark... looking South is the Columbia River and Mt. Hood.. A third landmark is the Hood River Toll bridge connecting Oregon and Washington states.

This is a bar near where i live... or a pub as we call it...
