What are some methods to trick your employer into giving you an undeserved raise or promotion?

Ha! I took a few risks ( because I was right) and disobeyed an immediate superior and went to the big boss with my results . It was a little cutthroat but I had to break through the sexist barrier that existed at the time . But my raises and promotions were deserved 😁
