Every fucking time. I love my middle name but nobody can spell it.

@DarkHeaven I once had a Pakistani ISP girl say "Does anyone in your house speak English?". I'm afraid I replied "Can anyone in your workplace hear?"
@alan20 I’ve got a weird fucking accent. My English is perfect as I was born in the US, but my accent is really strange and I hate it.

@DarkHeaven I'm sure I'd love it.Despite being a musician I've never been able to take off accents despite having so-called perfect pitch. My father, a violinist, was great at it.
@alan20 My Dad is Norse Scandinavian born and lived In Iceland until a teen, and my Mom is Norse Gael born in Northern Ireland (North of Dublin) and lived until a teen. They met in Midwestern US and married. I grew up on my parents farm in MidWestern US and never heard anyone speak except my parents and a couple ranch hands until I went to school, so my accent is a mix of Icelandic, northern Irish, and rural MidWestern US. Nobody talks like me and I hate it. Most of my SO’s loved my accent but me not so much. The only time that I don’t have it is when I sing. My singing voice is a non accented US. I don’t know why it just always has been.

@DarkHeaven I've always hated hearing my own voice, even on a recording they made of me when I was nine, introducing the music. I just can't bring myself to sing. My father was born not far from N.Dublin in Neath.Mother from Galway in the West, a destination for Spanish smugglers.I used to tell myself I was half Spanish.Once went for an audition as repetiteur to the Royal Ballet in London and thought she was joking when a student dancer told me she loved my accent, finding it very musical. London is the loneliest place on earth when you're an extreme introvert.
@alan20 I believe you. Sorry.
