I had to Google that..it stated,Not a lot of people know that couscous has the ability to boost the immune system and has a proven quality as an antibacterial and antiviral agent. It has been shown as a solid deterrent against the herpes virus, cancer cells, cold sores and shingles."
Idk I've seen diet systems come and go all meat no meat.tell us if it works..

No, it doesn’t....eating less makes you lose weight.
If you eat a lot of couscous and other things, you won’t lose weight.

@revenant No, there isn’t...I just eat a lot of food. I have pretty much a "cast iron” stomach, and I enjoy eating.
It’s simple science:
Eat less doughnuts than you usually do, and you will lose weight....eat more couscous than you usually do, and you will gain weight (but probably not enough to offset the loss from the doughnuts). The reason you have a net weight loss is due to consuming less doughnuts....not to consuming more couscous.

@DragonFruit I think everybody has different metabolisms too so what might work for one person might not for the next
DragonFruit · 61-69, M
@revenant Yes, to an extent, but regardless....eating more food will NOT make you lose weight, no matter what kind of food it is. Trust me on this, I majored in Biology. That’s all I’m going to say, I’ve already spent too much time beating a dead horse here.

I love couscous. How is that possible though it's made from durum wheat. But I do like it

@helenS personally I think psychology is a main driver in obesity..... But National Institute of Health says its carbs and actually I think it's eating
1. Not enough in a day and too much at one time
2. Eating at wrong times
But this is the general thing on carbs....
"Carbohydrates are the main driver of excess body fat by causing fluctuations in blood sugar that increase appetite. ... Body fat is hormonally active and causes the four problems of the metabolic syndrome: dyslipidemia, elevated blood sugar, elevated blood pressure and overweight/obesity."

Couscous is wonderful, tasty and healthy. Especially with lamb chops.

Do you have any proof to support that claim?
